Career Summary
Peter studied law at Durham University before joining a leading marine liability mutual. A qualified Shipbroker, he joined Thomas Miller in 1995 and became a UK P&I Club Area Director, before creating Thomas Miller Claims Management in 2007 and serving as the Chief Executive until 2023.
Peter also led the development of TM Law (now Shearwater Law) as its CEO, from its creation in 2015 until 2023. Peter remains a member of the senior management team; responsible for developing business for CCM & Shearwater Law internationally with particular reference to North and South America, Canada and the Caribbean. He also holds the role of President of Thomas Miller Claims Management USA.
