Having
found its origins in Covington (near New Orleans) in 1997, CCM opened
its UK office in 1999, in response to market demand for a TPA to handle
construction business placed in the marine market. Since that time we have grown controllably and steadily, and are now performing TPA services for numerous large UK and US insurance carriers on primary and excess general liability, hull, P&I, and MEL programs. Due to market demand, CCM opened its office in Houston in August 2006, to work in unison with our New Orleans office in maritime liability claims. In February 2007, we opened an office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, predominately to handle hull and liability claims on yacht business. Our
UK office is accredited with Lloyd’s of
London and the International Underwriting Agency (IUA) in London.
This allows CCM
to collect claim
payments from London insurers directly through the Central Accounting
Scheme, that was once only available to London brokers. CCM was the
first non broker to achieve this position in the 300 year plus history
of Lloyd's. |
